About Mt. Carmel
Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center (Mt. Carmel) provides transition and employment assistance, behavioral health and wellness, supportive services, connection to community resources, and safe event space for Veterans, Military Members and their families. Mt. Carmel was a dream of Mr. Jay Cimino and his strong desire to support our veteran community in meaningful ways.
Our Mission
To provide best practices for our Military, Veterans, and their families through accessible programs, integrated resources, and collaborative partnerships that empower lives and strengthen our community.
Mt Carmel has helped me out so much. For me when I come to Mt Carmel it feels like I am at the right place at the right time. As a Marine Veteran trying to get back on my feet, I walked in, got invited to a volunteer event and networked. I landed a good job, got set up with work clothes and a bike and received help acquiring a tool box full of tools to get my life started. I am incredibly grateful to the staff who have helped me so much! Just knowing there is a place that really gets stuff done and doesn’t just blow smoke is motivating. I give Mt Carmel an official 5 out of 5 red crayon rating. Semper Fi
